Side Opening Bed

Side opening beds are the contemporary alternative to the growing demand for added storage in bedrooms where space is a premium. The lift up feature utilises hydraulic gas lift mechanisms to transfer the wasted space under the bed to create a functional storage facility.

There are two main headboard styles which may be added to side opening bases; small headboards and floor standing headboards. Small headboards attach atop the base with adjustable wooden struts, making them compatible with mattresses of varying depths. The taller headboard is the floor standing style. This does exactly as its name suggests – it stands elegantly tall from floor to above the base attaching at the bottom with strong headboard screws.
