Ambassador Bed with Mattress

Hand made using premium British timber and materials sourced from the finest fabric houses around the world, the ambassador features wonderful upholstery on all parts, finished with diamond or buttoned effects.

The ambassador frame is not your conventional bed frame, its striking design features mean it is longer and wider than a standard sized bed frame so please consider these when purchasing. Dimensions of the ambassador are available on the listings. The ambassador can be customised if the space you have is limited and the dimensions need to be changed.

The sizing of the ambassador headboard is 130cm across each size. We know each bedroom is unique and each of you have your own individual preferences. To cater to these preferences, we are able to alter the size of the headboard whether this involves reducing the height, increasing it or splitting the headboard into parts to enable it to fit up the stairs. Unlike many bed retailers, we have decided that slat bases are a thing of the past and we have replaced them with a high quality sturdy base board, adding storage capacity to your new bed. Alternatively, we have the option of adding ottoman storage in the form of a metal gas lift which you can add to your selection, adding 4x storage capability compared to divan storage.

The firmness of the mattress determines comfort and will influence how the mattress conforms to your body’s contours. Harder mattresses offer properties such as orthopaedic back support whereas softer mattresses feature memory foam which has cooling and contouring properties.

Soft Mattress

Soft mattresses have a deep cushioned surface which are great for providing added support for your back, hips and shoulders. People that enjoy sleeping on their side and curling up during sleep will generally prefer a soft mattress.

Hard Mattress

Back sleepers and stomach sleepers will benefit greatly from the firmness of these mattresses as these sleeping styles expose large surface areas of the body to the sleep surface so the added support is helpful to ensure comforting sleep.

Medium Mattress

Medium tension mattresses serve as the perfect hybrid between firmer and softer tensions. They offer the most comforting compromise for couples who can’t agree on which tension they prefer.
