Like all our headboards, floor standing headboards are hand made in the UK by our highly skilled craftsmen. The headboards are available in a number of luxurious colour and fabric combinations. The primary difference between a floor standing headboard and traditional smaller headboards is that it stands freely on the ground as a masterpiece of its own. The headboard connects to your base at the very bottom of the base so you don’t have any unwanted wooden struts sticking out of anywhere.
Headboards may not be essential to the structure of your bedframe, but there’s some great reasons why you should have one. A physical barrier between your sleeping area and the wall behind reduces the risk of your wall becoming marked or damaged. What headboard sizes are available?
Our headboards are available in all sizes ranging from single to super king. Single headboards work well in children’s bedrooms and guest bedrooms whereas small double beds are a more suited option for older children or double rooms where space is scarce.
Double sizes are the most popular choice, working as a great solution for standard sized bedrooms. If you have space available at a premium, king size and superking size headboards provide a glamorous backdrop to your master bedroom.
All floor standing headboards are manufactured in a standard height. The height of each design is listed on the corresponding product page. However, if you require a custom size headboard, please contact customer services who are able to assist you with additional guidance on the design and ordering process. All our headboards are compatible with standard UK size divan and ottoman beds.
