Read full articleMattress choice is one of the most important factors to achieving a good night’s sleep. At Amare Living, we pride ourselves on providing a great range of mattresses for our customers to choose from. When buying a mattress there are some important points to consider including firmness, support and comfort. Our range has taken into account all the different aspects for what makes the perfect sleep and there is one to choose for everyone!
Memory foam mattresses are usually of medium firmness and are for people with back pains as it is more contouring than other mattresses (will conform to the shape of your body). This means if you have a partner that moves around a lot in their sleep, you will not feel it as much. Memory foam mattresses had tendencies to get hot due to the foam used, however our Grand Memory Foam Back Support Mattress is filled with heat-sensitive foam which keeps it cool, even in the height of the British Summer!
Pocket sprung mattresses are the most popular type of mattresses and it’s easy to see why. They provide increased support while sleeping and have an increased life-span of up to 10 years. The amount of springs will dictate the firmness of the mattress with more springs making the mattress firmer. A quality mattress should have at least 1000 individual pocket springs – anything below this figure would be categorised as low quality. Depending on the individual, the number of pocket springs is hugely important and we have a wide range of spring counts for you to choose from.
Pillow-top mattresses are the height of luxury and are designed to provide that comfort, helping you sleep like royalty every night. The pillow-top mattress has an extra layer which is sewn on top of the mattress (which could be memory foam, coil sprung or pocket sprung). They will generally be bulkier than a regular mattress and if you want a statement mattress, this is the range you should be looking at. The advantage of the pillow top mattress is that you are able to get the firmness of a pocket sprung or coil sprung mattress coupled with a softer pillow top layer for a serene sleep.
In summary, the choice of the mattress comes down to you as an individual and how you sleep. We have a fantastic range of mattresses available on our website. We also offer a bespoke service, where together with you, we can design and build the mattress of your dreams. Please get in touch for further details.
